Looking Back to Fall 2025……
My new year greetings to everyone as we start into 2026!
The late fall of 2025 seemed to go by so quickly. I hope that everyone enjoyed the Holiday Season with family and friends. I wanted to go back and share our very successful display at the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance.
As is our tradition, many of our arrivals came in on Thursday with the remainder on Friday. We were kindly greeted by Huntley Tarleton with Registration packets and his plan for our placement along the side of the Show Field. His vision worked well, and we adjusted our transoms to have had a nice balance and alignment. New signage was also installed along our display and looked great. The weather was sunny and cool, and we enjoyed our dinner for the early arrivals at Hudson’s.
The temperatures were colder in the morning’s and enough to form a little ice slush on seats! You can see that on Bryan Wheeler’s hands in the photos. Cloud cover came and went, and the weekend was pleasant overall. We were joined by two very impressive, large, and new Chris Craft’s that featured all the most modern design and technology.
Huntley had also arranged for unique cars in the Special Exhibits areas. One of the hi-lights was seeing a series of classic racing Corvette’s from the past. All of these were in outstanding condition and impressive to see along with the Back to the Future Delorean and others.
Friday evening we arrived early for dinner so that we could be seated in the same area. Please enjoy the photos, and the service staff took good care of us all!
The weekend was busy with many visitors coming through our exhibit area with questions and sharing. Roger Baily’s Black Cat received a surprise award for People’s Choice, and we were all delighted for him!
Two photo links are included for Boats and for Cars. I hope that you enjoy looking through. It was a special weekend for all, and we look forward to this year once again! Our special thank you and appreciation to Huntley for all of his guidance and support throughout the show.
Very sincerely,
Steve
