My greetings to everyone, and the Spring season will be on the way soon! We are sincerely looking forward to our April Show at the Harbor Light Marina, and Tilly’s Tiki Bar & Grill. We are so very grateful for this opportunity, and they have been a regular docking and lunch choice for past Lake Hartwell Rendezvous cruises. Situated on the Georgia and South Carolina line, Harbor Light and Tilly’s are the perfect combination for our time together. Our Show dates are Friday and Saturday April 17th and 18th.

Traditionally, we also have early arrivals on Thursday April 16th, and we look forward to that option too. There will be team members at the Marina to assist with docking, your slip placards, and trailer storage beginning at 12noon on Thursday. For those arriving early, we will also plan to gather at 5:30pm for an informal dinner and beverages at Tilly’s.

Further below you will find links for on-line Registration, the Show Schedule and our Saturday evening dinner menu. We are grateful to Scott Perkins for implementing this system through Stripe. The feedback has been very positive, and the automation streamlines the process.

Through Registration, you can advise us if you will need trailer storage, or if you will be commuting by your boat on Lake Hartwell each day. We have arranged for trailer storage at the Marina. All must be detached, and we can then align them based on the spaces available.

Bryan Wheeler and Craig McMullin will be assisting you with slip placement on Friday, your placards and any other assistance we can provide. They will also assist with early Saturday arrivals prior to the Show.

We are planning for two Cruises on Friday. The times are on the schedule, and Al Olsen and John Heiderich will each Captain a Cruise.

Our dinner Friday evening will be at Tilly’s, and we will be seated close together as we were at Break On The Lake at Lake Greenwood, and the Hilton Head Concours for the Friday night dinner.

Our Saturday Show will begin at 10:00am and conclude at 3:00pm. Ballots will be totaled to present the People’s Choice Award on Saturday evening. Our Awards Dinner will be at the Historic Depot in Lavonia at 6pm and catered by the very well-known Top Dawg Grillers. (see menu below)  My sincere thank you to Gary Fesperman for his assistance and arrangements for our time together.

The Insurance Form for ACBS is also included, and it is important that you that you complete and sign that form and …If you have not been able to do this in advance, please be sure to bring the completed form with you to the Show. We must have this for you to participate.

For launching, there is a ramp at the Marina, but it can be perceived as steep to access and may not have the ideal trailer angle for launch and reloading. Please feel free to check and determine if this would work for you. There are two additional ramps nearby the Marina as well. Tugaloo State Park is a mega-ramp with ample access and a short cruise to Harbor Light. (By vehicle, the drive to the ramp or back to the Marina with a trailer typically takes 15 to 17 minutes).

Additionally, there is a ramp across from Harbor Light on the South Carolina side at Lake Hartwell State Park. This ramp does not have a courtesy dock but could be an appropriate option if you will be launching and cruising straight over to Harbor Light while your trailer is being brought to the Marina. (Lake Hartwell water levels may affect this, but we all hope that rains can improve the depth). By vehicle, the drive to the ramp or back to the Marina is typically 8 to 10 minutes.
