Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance – November 2-3
Once again, our Chapter is invited to participate in the Special Exhibit theme of Life on the Water….
The goal in the past has been to have approximately 20 boats so that we will continue to be invited back. Each year, there is also a companion Special Exhibit in on the Show Field adjacent to our location. Racing boats especially are welcomed.
Many of you are familiar with the schedule in the past – We as Exhibitors traditionally arrive on Thursday or early on Friday to be directed onto the Show Field and placed by Huntley. The Concours is held on Saturday and Sunday November 2-3. We need to be on the field until 4pm on Sunday.
Last year we had a great group. We also have a traditional dinner together at Hudson’s on Thursday evening and enjoyed another group dinner on Saturday evening at the Quarter Deck in Sea Pines with a beautiful sunset! Sunday is also a traditional dinner just off the island for those departing on Monday.
Huntley Tarleton leads the Special Exhibits and he has been a wonderful supporter of our Club over many years working with John Heiderich. Would you please consider joining us, especially if you have a racing boat to display for this year.
The final Registration date is September 13th. To complete this on-line process, please go to the address below. The new registration system from last year has been improved this year.
https://www.hhiconcours.com/ Select Participate, and then Apply in the drop down menu. Select Special Exhibits and the instructions / examples will come up. As you progress, you will see a choice for Boats. There is a specific section for boat information to be input after you start the process; and then your requested photos to be uploaded near the end.

As a Two-Day Special Exhibitor, you will receive two Exhibitor Badges providing free entry for both Saturday’s Car Club Showcase sponsored by Car Village Bluffton (to also include access to the Aero Expo and the Motoring Festival After Party) and Sunday’s Concours d ‘Elegance.

You will also receive two wristbands that will give you access to the Exhibitor’s Lounge where you will have access to continental breakfast, lunch, water and soft beverages on both Saturday and Sunday.
In the past John Heiderich has also organized a caravan for those that are in nearby areas to drive together if they would like. More to follow on these items as we draw closer.
Many of our attendees have preferred choices for accommodations. The Westin Hilton Head is the official host hotel.
